Pastels

I found my self overworking my paintings in my attempt to get them finished and send them on their way.  So I grabbed a piece a left over matt board to do a bit of doodling to break the tension.

Playing with this quick pastel painting of Frangipanies was just what I needed to break the intensity of portrait painting.

Might use this one as a sketch for a larger painting further down the the track.
